Well-written and fast paced
Enjoyed the book. Wish there was a timely sequel.
Just finished reading this and it ended way sooner than I wanted! Great story line and so far clean. Action and intrigue. More please! I want to know what happens next.
This book finished before it got started. Can't wait for the next in the series. The plot was different and the characters were starting to develop slowly and left me just wanting more. Left one wondering what was happening until almost the end. Really good light read.
This is the first book by Kurt Petrey that I have read. It came to my attention from a friend and although I'm not a fan of fantasy fiction, I decided to give it a try because he was a Louisiana writer. I was hooked before the end of the first chapter. I couldn't wait to find out more about the "awakened." This book was a great read from an author who has an imagination and a way with words. Waiting for the next book.
I really enjoyed the storyline. I appreciated that the language was clean. I will be recommending this book to several friends and my 11 year daughter who is a huge fantasy fan. Great job Kurt, can't wait for the next one!
I just finished reading legacy Awakening. I'm not usually into hard sci-fi, but I'm glad I read this. It's intriguing, well written (and edited!) and done so in a way my nephew and I can both enjoy. Although there were a few times I skimmed through paragraphs that dragged, they didn't detract from the quality of the book. I'm looking forward to reading the next book!
