The highly recommended Bellatore Saga continues from where it stopped in Conscience with Sojourn. If you haven’t read the first two books, Dissident and Conscience, then go buy the first two, finish and come back and read the review.

To say I am in love with this series would be an understatement. Cecilia London has captured my attention and has kept me hooked to Caroline and Jack’s story since the day I was introduced to this series. The Bellator Saga has the perfect combination of intrigue, mystery, with a healthy dose of violence incorporated with heart at the bottom of your stomach thriller. And to tie the series up into a perfect little twisty red satin bow, is romance between the uber sexy politician, Jack McIntyre, who has the penchant for making every women swoon in his vicinity and his smart and sassy opposition, Caroline Gerard-McIntyre. And I give you the Bellatore Saga.

Caroline is considered a dissident and was captured and heinously tortured in Conscience. We all wondered whether she will come out of this insanity whole or will she scatter into pieces. Will Jack finally be able to rescue his wife? Or will Caroline find out once and for all that her family and friends have all been killed but the power hungry monster that resides in the highest office that can be.

In Sojourn, Caroline finds herself rescued. Yet she isn’t capable of celebrating her escape because he only knows one thing, her past is now a living breathing monster that is ripping her apart from the inside. She is stuck in her mind, stuck in the memories of her past life. Though her rescuers are doing everything they can to heal her body, her mind is slowly but surely eating her alive with the stories from her past. Her perfect life with her children and Jack, her dear friends and colleagues, all of them feature in her memories and are playing havoc on her conscience.

This book was an insight into Caroline’s mind, her struggle to free herself from the physical torture as well as the mental ones. We watch her fight and grow strong but just when she grew strong enough to take the gauntlet and forge ahead, Caroline was struck hard once more. It was heartbreaking indeed to read the ending; to say that her heart was eviscerated would be the ultimate understatement. Will this be the final blow that ends Caroline Gerard-McIntyre? Great, intense..
More drama,intrigue,angst,passion and emotions.
Caroline is has great strength and emotions.
Are they out of danger?
Cant wait for the next one.
Holy moly, I just can't even after all this! Now the wait until April? Sadist really. I started this series arc book# 1. Was blown away, now I have to co,pose myself to blog all this. Had I known there was to be book 4, I would of waited longer than I had tobegin this. I am impatient and this is just phenomenal!
I love this series. I got the first book for free and once I finished it I was hooked. I immediately bought the 2nd, 3rd & 4th books--and I have never purchased a book before this series. The story is compelling, well written and I couldn't put it down. These books are keepers. I will not be deleting them from my , but will re-read them in the future before the next book is available. Can't wait for the next book, Rhapsody (due out late 2016) and the final book, Triump (due out early 2017). I am anxious to continuing reading Jack and Caroline's story.
The dystopian intrigue, political tumult, a prodigious love story, and the provocative scenes that could bring infinite shades of rouge to even the most adventurous. Cecilia London’s ever impressive love of words and their many uses and meaning has catapulted Sojourn, the third installment in The Bellator Saga, to my favorite book in the series. Leaving it to stand out from the first two and raising the bar for the many more to come. I am almost certain that Cecilia London will deliver on my expectations, as she has already exceeded my expectations twice over in the past, and there is still so much to account for in the continuation of this allegory.
Once again, Ms. London has drawn me deeper into the story of Caroline and Jack. This third installment again focuses on Caroline and her journey following her separation from her loved ones. It is filled with suspense, intrigue and heartfelt emotion. I can't praise the author enough for her talent. She is a master storyteller, gripping you while eliciting a myriad of emotions with this ongoing story. I am in awe of her ability to weave a story through such a detailed, well thought out plot, never once faltering, nor losing her audience's attention. I am so invested in all of these characters and eagerly await the rest of the series. I highly recommend buying the boxed set of the first three installments, because you will not be able to walk away after reading the first. I could toss a myriad of adjectives like "stunning", "gripping", "enthralling" or any other combinations of glowing words to praise this author and her work. Anything she writes in the future will be on my immediate one-click list. It's all that good. I was even moved to tears at the end of this book. Lest I sound repetitive, I will simply say you MUST read these books. You will not regret it. When you're finished, tell everyone you know who loves to read about it, they will definitely thank you for bringing him/her into Caroline and Jack's world.
Cecilia London has done it again with Book 3 in the Bellator Saga - SOJOURN! I couldn't put this book down and am anxiously awaiting the continuation of this amazing story in Book 4. I don't like reviews that have spoilers, so I refuse to give you too much information for fear of giving away the major plot twists in this book. This series is worth every penny and every moment you spend reading it. The story has a deep intricate plot, characters that you will fall in love with and want to fight for, hot hot sexy scenes along with a story line that has some real meat to it - not just fluff! Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory story and this series won't disappoint. In fact, with what's going on in our current government this story hits some major buttons. Don't miss out on an amazing ride, you will be sorry if you do.
